\*bonify – a Berlin-based FinTech Startup that enables customers to benefit from their credit scoring and financial data. We give customers free & easy access to their credit score and let them upload additional relevant data. Then we offer tools and personalized recommendations to help optimize our customer’s financial situation.

Founded in 2015 by key executives of McKinsey and Zalando, bonify has received significant funding from international leading VCs, e.g., Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital, and successful entrepreneurs, e.g., Zalando founders and Raisin founders. Now bonify is a part of SCHUFA.

Tasks

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Architect, design, and develop high-quality software solutions using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project scopes.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in solving complex problems.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions.
• Good to have: Experience with React Native, previous experience as a Senior BE/ Tech Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (at least 5 years of hands-on experience).
• Experience with React Native is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
